Publisher: Gestalten Editor: Hella Jongerius
ISBN: 9783899556650 Format: Hardcover, 152pp , 210x320 mm

The book I Don’t Have a Favourite Colour maps out many of the colour experiments that contributed to Vitra’s Colour and Material Library since Hella Jongerius and Vitra began collaborating over one decade ago. Drawing on the colour theories of Michel-Eugène Chevreul, on weaving experiments in the Berlin studio and projects by great 20th century designers, including Jean Prouvé and Verner Panton, as well as collaborations with contemporaries such as Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and Jasper Morrison, the book gives insights into Hella Jongerius’ understanding of colour, light and materials and presents how this process has influenced and shaped Vitra’s portfolio.
